Members
The Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (SIPP) is a membership based psychoanalytic learning community on Long Island, open to all NYS licensed professionals. Membership is paid on an annual basis which runs from September 1st through August 31st of a given year. Events include, but are not limited to, workshops, colloquium, book group, round table, movie discussion, holiday party and an end of year party. Topics for all workshops and colloquia are determined by suggestions from the membership, and will provide Continuing Education credits for NYS Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Psychologists. Additionally, all meetings are open to paid members. Please consider joining our vibrant community!
Jane Ades

Ms. Ades is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Certificate in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis from The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in 1992 and is trained in eating disorders from The Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. Ms. Ades is a faculty member and supervisor at The Suffolk Institute.
Ms. Ades sees adults, adolescents and couples, works with women along the spectrum of reproductive issues and treats individuals with eating disorders. She uses an interactional and relational approach to therapy.

Matt Aibel

Matt Aibel, LCSW, serves on faculty at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) in Manhattan, from which received his analytic training. He received his MSW from NYU and his BA from Yale. Matt was NIP’s Associate Director of Continuing Education, where he selected, organized, and moderated 25 half-day workshops featuring leading psychoanalysts and psychologists over a five-year term. He is Editor of The IARPP Bulletin (newsletter of the International Association of Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy), and Associate Editor of the journal Psychoanalytic Perspectives. His clinical and theoretical writing is published in Psychoanalytic Perspectives and Psychoanalytic Psychology and his papers are read in analytic training and professional study groups. Elizabeth Allured

Dr. Allured is a NYS Licensed Psychologist who received her Certificate in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies in Adelphi University in 2003.

Robert Raymond

Linda Sleszynski

Marian Viviano

Ms. Viviano began her work as an educator in alternative and non-school settings, working with ‘at risk’ adolescents. At the onset of the AIDS epidemic until 2008, she worked in HIV/AIDS community-based programs as a prevention educator and coordinator. Along with case managing adolescents with HIV, Ms. Viviano provided testing and counseling services. Her work with substance abuse treatment brought about a search for a more in-depth approach to individual clinical care.
