See Me, Feel Me, Heal Me…Intersubjectivity and Neural Resonance
November 9 @ 12:00 pm - 2:30 pmFree – $62.50
Uri Bergmann, PhD
How can developmental neurobiology inform treatment? The past 20 years have evidenced an avalanche of neurobiological data regarding how the human brain develops in the context of somatosensory stimulation and relational attachment. This data charges us to become more aware, fluent and clinically comfortable with the right hemispheric functioning of our patients and ourselves as we engage in the dance of treatment.
This presentation will integrate the data regarding the Default Mode Network (neuroscience’s name for the dynamic unconscious) and the Mirror Neuron System to illustrate the implications of this material with respect to neural resonance (neurobiology’s name for intersubjectivity) and projective identification.
This event will be held in Bellmore, NY.
