The new Executive Committee leading SIPP for 2022 is comprised of five SIPP graduates: Claudia Alter, Ph.D.; Beth Feldman, Ph.D.; Jill Sirota, LCSW; Christine Sullivan, LCSW; and Marian Viviano, LCSW. All five are certified psychoanalysts in full-time private practice.
The Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, or SIPP as it is affectionately called, is a warm, collegial, intellectually stimulating community for clinicians who are looking for educational opportunities, as well as professional networking and camaraderie. Our educational offerings are psychoanalytic in nature and, at the same time, inclusive of real-world issues that touch our lives and our work.
Several years ago, SIPP transitioned into a psychoanalytic learning community offering workshops, mini courses, colloquiums, and discussions about a variety of psychoanalytic and currently relevant topics. These range from formal presentations offering Continuing Education credits for licensed psychologists and social workers to informal chats in members’ homes over food, wine and coffee.
We warmly welcome NYS licensed professionals to join us and participate in our community. We look forward to meeting new members and sharing our rich and inclusive psychoanalytic traditions.
Please feel free to contact Beth Feldman, Ph.D. at (516) 987-5340 with any questions about SIPP.
