Ms. Ades is a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her Certificate in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis from The Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in 1992 and is trained in eating disorders from The Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. Ms. Ades is a faculty member and supervisor at The Suffolk Institute.

Ms. Ades sees adults, adolescents and couples, works with women along the spectrum of reproductive issues and treats individuals with eating disorders. She uses an interactional and relational approach to therapy.

Patricia Hunter

Dr. Hunter worked with Dr. Albert Ellis, considered the grandfather of cognitive behavior therapy, from 1984 through 1988, co authoring a book with him about finances entitled Why Am I Always Broke: How To Be Sane About Money.

Dr. Phillips has been an Adjunct Full Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Doctoral Program of Long Island University, N.Y. for over 20 years. She is a faculty member for the Postdoctoral Programs of the Derner Institute of Adelphi University, N.Y. and Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (SIPP). In the aftermath of trauma and disaster, as co-Chair of Outreach for AGPA, Dr. Phillips has provided direct service to civilians and uniformed responders, trained other professionals, published on bereavement and trauma, uniformed services and couples. In February 2008 she testified before Congress for the needs of military and their families. She has responded nationally and internationally in the aftermath of 9/11; the China Earthquake; the California Fires; the Terrorist Attack in Mumbai, India; the Earthquake in Aquila, Italy; and the Earthquake in Haiti. She is the co-editor with Bob Klein of Public Mental Health Service Delivery Protocols: Group Interventions for Disaster Preparedness and Response and is co-author with Dianne Kane of Healing Together: A Couple’s Guide to Coping with Trauma and Posttraumatic Stress. She writes a blog “Healing Together for Couples” for Psych Central, a mental health website, and for PBS’ “It’s An Emotional Life.”

Robert Raymond
